Gearing Up For This Great Event

As i was sending out meeting requests for the upcoming Internet Telephony Conference and Expo, I got to thinking about what a positive impact the event has had on VoIP Supply and for me personally. I remember my first Internet Telephony Conference and Expo. It was the spring 2005 show in Miami. I remember our CEO Ben Sayers and I made the trip in order to “learn more” about the show. We had only been in the VoIP industry a little over six months and no one knew us…and we did not know anyone. I still remember I was “nervous” walking around the show, I can still see the booth babes mobbed by the telephony geeks and the steak dinner with guys from TMC. Boy how things have changed.

Over two and half years have passed since that first show and i am still going to the show to “learn more” although the situation is totally different. VoIP Supply is a huge success…lots of people know us, the know me and I know lots of people. I have meetings to attend. I have press credentials. I am now meeting with Sayers Media Group clients; not just vendors, partners and customers. While I can’t give all of the credit for VoIP Supply’s or my personal success to TMC, I would like to thank them for providing a venue for us to connect with the industry, build relationships and grow our business. So to Nadji, Rich, Dave, Tom, Greg, Anthony, Joe and the rest of the TMC crew I say thank you for all of your hard work and dedication and for treating this wide-eyed wet-behind-the-ears kids from a unkown company like a “somebody” from day one. I guess the next dinner should be on me?
